Terrorists gain control of a spacecraft parked in deep-space and armed with nuclear missiles. Under the command of hate-driven former diplomat, Sir Miles Griffin, they plan using it in revenge by hitting strategic targets in the USA. Hearing that there might be a cure, Adams accepts Griffin's offer of several millions to arm the spacecraft, however, not trusting Griffin's motives he agrees to work with the British Counter Terrorism Command to sabotage the project.
